STR is pleased to announce that Susan DeRagon, Senior Associate Director of STR’s Toys and Premiums Group, has been contracted as a product safety consultant by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). She will be a technical resource for presentation and PPAI member inquiries as well as contribute in analyzing the CPSIA regulations & other product safety issues. Sue will also be involved in PPAI ‘s  “Guide To Navigating The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act,” the first edition of which is soon to be released.

Sue is a consumer product safety specialist with over 25 years of experience. She is an active member of the Toy Industry Association (TIA), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO). Sue is also a member of the Technical Committee for TIA’s Toy Safety Certification Program.
