Recent findings show that American's are looking for quality meals at a reasonable price in their dining experience, and fast casual fits the bill.
It's a little more expensive than fast food, a little less than those family restaurants and the food is definitely different. Cashing in on this growing market, which reported sales of $18 billion in 2010, are a number of niche restaurant chains offering high-end fresh, natural and nutritious meals at an affordable price point.
