The newest edition of the AAFA Restricted Substances List (RSL), covering apparel, footwear, and home textiles, was published recently by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA). 

RSL covers product safety and environmental standards in the United States and around the world.  A comprehensive listing of chemicals and other substances whose presence in a product is restricted through a government regulation or law, RSL eliminates regulatory confusion and helps industry remain competitive in the global marketplace.

The list, which has become the global industry standard for restricted substances, can be downloaded for free at the AAFA website.
