Identifying and preventing potential manufacturing hazards.
Quality assurance begins with prevention. UL-STR's team of experts conduct Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) Audits for the food products and nutritional supplements industries across their supply chains -- manufacturing plants, distribution centers, warehouses, retail stores, and service establishments. We work with our customers to help them ascertain that every production point has implemented the established HACCP policies and procedures, and are fully compliant with the safety-focused requirements.
UL-STR certified auditors examine operations, products, and documentation to discover whether a company’s HACCP plan is meeting all seven best practice principles: hazard analysis, critical control points determination, specification of critical limits, establishment and implementation of monitoring systems, execution of corrective actions, verification of the system, and record keeping.
With over two decades of experience in safe food practices and issues, UL-STR's third-party audits provide a trustworthy, independent view into the workings of every HACCP-related aspect of a company.
We understand that, despite best intentions, a HACCP plan doesn't always translate into day-to-day compliance, and can help our customers establish food safety best practices across their organization. We can also work with our customers’ supply chain partners, offering early detection of problems that could result in product defects and production delays.
