Helping to ensure the quality manufacturing of foods and pharmaceuticals.
Quality. At UL-STR, we understand that your company’s reputation hinges on it. Our Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and General GMP audits provide essential information, allowing companies like yours to make informed decisions that help ensure safe and effective quality systems—both internally and throughout the supply chain.
Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Audits
UL-STR’s cGMP Audits, conducted by certified audit specialists, helps to ensure quality through assessment of best practices relating to methods, equipment, facilities, and product controls, specifically in regulated industries—food and food packaging, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and cosmetics.
Safe Quality Food (SQF) Audits
The SQF program is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognized food safety and product quality management certification system. ANSI ISO/IEC Guide 65 accredited, STR-R can perform audits to grant certification for food items that meet the specific SQF program requirements.
General GMP (Factory Quality and Capability) Audits
Conducted for non-regulated industries—such as toy, toy premiums, textile, personal care, household chemicals, and general consumer merchandise—General GMP (Factory Quality and Capability) Audits determine whether products being manufactured will be safe and reliable. Based on ISO principles, the General GMP Audits also assess whether production volume and schedules will be met, offering early detection of problems that could result in product defects, production delays, and other issues.
