UL-STR's state-of-the-art facilities include a household and commercial cleaning products testing laboratory for rug cleaners, glass cleaners, fabric softeners, and the like. UL-STR tests formulation prototypes as well as products already on store shelves. In addition UL-STR has computer-controlled home washing appliances that conduct laundry detergent testing.
