STR has a dedicated group of technical experts with in-depth knowledge of UL regulations and plastics and rubber testing. With over 40 years of experience working with international regulatory agencies, STR is widely recognized for its electrical, physical and analytical testing capabilities. Our plastics and rubber expertise includes development and testing, product safety, performance testing, quality assurance, consulting, and diverse analytical chemistry services.

We are certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) as a UL Certificated Administrative and Engineering Agency. STR offers clients in-depth technical assistance in obtaining recognition of their products and materials by coordinating all aspects of the submittal process. Primary standards handled include UL 94 Flammability, UL 746B Relative Thermal Index and UL 1446 Insulation Systems Programs. STR has also partnered with UL to support their Restricted Substances Compliance Solutions (RSCS) Program, similar to our extensive work in UL safety certification.
